UKAOC Bidding Open for FLL March 2023

Bidding for the UK AOC is now open to FLL Crew. Conversion training for FLL CCMs who will be working under the UK AOC will be in April. Bidding for the JFK base will be open next month. Conversion training for JFK CCMs working under the UK AOC will be in May.  Bids will be awarded in seniority order. Once again, bidding for the UK AOC is only open to FLL CCMs right now. If you are a FLL CCM please click on the link below and choose which AOC you want to work for. You must select an option, even if you want to stay under the Norway AOC. Those who do not selection an option will be put under the AOC with the most need.
 

Right now, it looks like the FLL UK AOC base will need approximately 80-90 CCMs. The policies and procedures for the UK and Norway AOC will be the same. The only thing that will be materially different are the destinations a CCM will fly to: CCMs in the UK AOC will only fly to/from LGW and CCMs in the Norway AOC will fly to/from all other destinations. The current projections show that CCMs in the FLL UK AOC base will fly, on average, 10 block hours a month MORE than the CCMs in the FLL Norway AOC base. The block hours for the UK/Norway AOCs in the JFK base is expected to be about the same with the UK AOC providing only slightly more block hours.

Keep in mind that only those with a current UK attestation will be able to work for the UK AOC at this time. Also, once you are awarded an AOC, you cannot switch back to the other AOC until a training opportunity exists later on (later this year or next year).
