Today Is Our Day Of Action!

Association of Flight Attendants-CWA

Norse Cabin Crew:

Today, Friday June 16th, is our first day that we take action for our jobs here at Norse. Earlier today, the Union filed several longstanding grievances due to lack of progress and broken promises by Management. Below are the grievances that were filed which you can view a copy of:

1) Crew Breakfast being removed

2) Lack of Progress with Scheduling Issues

3) Reciprocal Jumpseat Agreements not in place

4) Lack of Hotel Consultation for new hotels

5) OSL hotel issues

In addition, we have asked Management to sign a Letter of Agreement to train and qualify ALL new hires on the UK AOC before the start of the next summer schedule which is March 2024. The Company has to respond to each grievance within the timeframe specified in our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). We will update you if any progress is made with a grievance or the proposed LOA.

In the meantime, we need YOU—the cabin crew—to record a short video clip (10-15 seconds in duration) telling Norse Management why we are disappointed and any struggles you have experienced due to poor management decisions and lack of progress. You can start recording these videos NOW and email them to the union: [email protected]. We will compile everyone’s video together into one and send to management at the same time. Please be clear, concise, and professional in your message. You can wear your uniform in the video, but make sure you’re not on duty (before check-in or after check-out).

We have finalized a petition that spells out exactly why the crew are disappointed and what we want to be fixed. We are currently uploading it to an online platform where you can electronically sign. It should be ready in the next couple of days.

From this point on, as we enter our second year at Norse, things MUST be different. We cannot afford anymore broken promises.

Year 2 for Norse Crew!

In Unity,

Katarzyna, Ted and Ish
