December 2023 Network Reductions

Dear Crew,

As we landed in MIA this afternoon, another disappointing email sent from the management about December network reductions hit us like a ton of bricks. Just a short while ago we were told US based crew will be very busy during this winter season, and today we all received the email with the information that some flights had been removed from our December rosters and canceled for Norse passengers. 

The email suggested that December rosters will be “reissued with adjustments by Friday, November 24th.” Whether they will be all be completely changed or just cancelled flights removed and replaced by other assignments isn’t clear to us.

It is important however to know that our CBA prohibits the company from removing or changing any days off already awarded in an original roster without the consent of the Cabin Crew Member. So if you notice that your December days off were removed or changed contact us at : [email protected] 

The email indicates that every commuting ticket purchased will be reimbursed if your schedule has been changed due to a flight no longer operating. That means all tickets purchased before November 22nd, not after. They also indicate that they will offer leave bidding for people who want to take time off in December and that information will be made known to us in the coming days.
 

We are frustrated and disappointed with what seems like the endless string of bad news. We will seek more information and share whatever we learn as soon as possible.
