Day of Action Planning Meeting

Dear Cabin Crew,

The response to our call for a "Day of Action" has been very well received and it's clear that the crew want their voices heard. Crew from both bases have expressed frustration in Management's failed promises and lack of progress. Many of you have proposed great suggestions on how we can communicate our frustrations to Management and we want to discuss these ideas on a Zoom meeting this Thursday (June 8th) at 1200. On the Zoom call, we will discuss the best way to communicate our grievances and frustrations in the most effective and professional way possible.

Before any other ideas are proposed we need to clarify that we are discussing performing an action "outside of work" and not at work. Performing any industrial action at work is considered a form of strike and because we are not in contract negotiations, it is illegal to perform any type of work action.

With that said, there are still PLENTY of other ways to effectively get our point across to Management in a fully legal and professional manner. One of the actions being discussed is having the crew come together at check-in time and record short 10-15 second videos saying how they feel let down/disappointed with Norse Management and what they would like to see changed. We will discuss this idea and others on the Zoom meeting. We will also go over our rights as workers to be vocal about our working conditions that are protected by law, without fear of retaliation from Management.
