ACMI Bid Award Release - Delayed

Dear Crew,

The plan was to release the ACMI bid award today, unfortunately that will not be happening.

We had many discussions with the company, including insisting that crew should be chosen in seniority order, no matter what AOC they work under, to be inclusive.

After brainstorming and going back and forth, it became clear that utilizing crew currently operating under the UK AOC wasn’t possible.

In addition, there were also many crew members in NO AOC who applied for Leave of Absence and simultaneously expressed interest in flying ACMI flights. The company needs to contact all these individuals and establish if they want to work or take a leave. Their answers will affect the bidding award. 

That is why the awards announcement had to be delayed. Instead of setting another date, we will just inform you as soon as we get the results ready for release.
