UK Medical Questions and Concerns

Dear Cabin Crew,

Many of you have questions and concerns about the UK Training and Medical Exams that are required for those working under the UK AOC. Norse Management has agreed to join the Union on a Zoom call to answer any questions and ensure we are all on the same page. The call will be TOMORROW at 1030 Eastern and cover the following topics:
 

• What the CCM can voluntarily elect to do/not to do in regard to their UK training and medical.
• What the Company can require.
• What is contractually legal.
• What compensation is offered, if any, for performing certain tasks.
• What are the consequences of a CCM not completing their UK training or medical exam.

If you have not already scheduled your UK Medical, Norse has arranged new appointments with Windmill Aviation (15 min from LGW) is offering cabin crew medicals on the 5th & 26th of May. Out of all of the aeromedical centers available, Windmill Aviation is the closet to LGW. If you decided not to make an appointment with the other AMEs due to the time/distance from LGW, Windmill Aviation is only 15 min from LGW by taxi/Uber (which is reimbursable).
