January 2026 Union Update
Dear Crew,
As some of you may have seen in the Facebook group, our MEC president, Kat, is on leave for personal reasons until March 7, 2026.
In the interim, Ted will be taking over all of her duties. He is currently being supported by Jhen and Kyle.
Feel free to reach out to any of the 3 if you have any questions, concerns, or things to report.
The company has put out notice today stating that certain flights, mostly IndiGo, will be rerouted due to rising tensions in the Middle East. They are closely monitoring the situation and will keep us apprised of any security changes.
We will be having a Union Zoom meeting on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at 1pm ET (10am PT).
The Zoom link will be posted in our Norse AFA Teams Channel.
Lastly, we wanted to highlight that we are aware of continued ICE presence in areas we live and operate, including MCO & NYC. We encourage our crew to remain vigilant and keep identification on you at all times.
