Negotiations Survey and Seniority Lists

Dear Crew,

This newsletter will cover 2 primary issues which are the Negotiations Survey, and the various Seniority Lists we have at Norse. 

Negotiations Survey

As we formally begin our Negotiations proceedings, we would like to get your feedback as to the most important issues we have affecting crew here at Norse.

As a result, AFA International has worked with us to create a survey for US crew to fill out with their most pressing matters. To access the survey, please follow THIS LINK for the survey and sign in using your employee number

The link for the survey will be live until Friday, November 22 at 5pm ET. Please fill it out promptly as all feedback is welcome.

Norse Seniority Lists

There are several seniority lists being used at Norse for a variety of issues. Please see below the various lists that are used in relation to Cabin Crew and in what circumstances they are utilized.

• General/Global Seniority List: This is used for ALL employees at Norse for the purpose of ID travel and jumpseat utilization. Norse Senior Management is in charge of this global seniority list.
   
• CCM List per Country: This list is for ALL crew members in a specific country which takes into account pay scale, seniority for vacation biddings, charters, etc.
  • For the US, this would include ALL US based crew members across both bases and so is more general.
• CCM List per Base: This list is for all crew members in a particular base and takes into account pay scale, seniority for vacation biddings, charters and other such base specific needs.
• CCM Special Qualification Seniority List: This list is company wide and AOC specific, and includes a list of Pursers/SCCM based on the date that they became an SCCM to comply with our CBAs and other multilateral agreements.
  • Some additional items of note for Special Qualification Seniority List:
    • When rosters are built they should have the most senior SCCM flying in the Purser position. 
    • If a Purser is called out on RSV or SBY/SBY3, they will not bump the original Purser from that position, but will fill whatever vacancy is available on that crew.  

You can find the most updated Seniority List HERE. This list is a living document and is updated semi-regularly. If you notice any discrepancies in the US base seniority list, please reach out to us via email at [email protected] so that we can have them corrected.
