JFK AOC Bid Awards Now Available

Dear Norse Cabin Crew,

The JFK AOC Bid Awards are finally available. The awards were delayed due to the company overlooking a provision in our CBA that disallows new-hire CCMs from becoming Pursers. The planning department assumed they could instantly hire/promote 11 new-hire Pursers for the Norway AOC. The AFA explained this was a violation of our CBA and they could only promote CCMs on the pre-hire list or a CCM who has been on the seniority list for at least one (1) year. The planning department now understands that any deficit of Pursers must be filled by current JFK CCMs who were on the pre-hire list.
 

When you view the bid awards, you will see that a disproportionate number of JFK Pursers remain in the Norway AOC while there is a deficit of JFK Pursers for the UK AOC. The Company is now actively looking to promote CCMs to become Pursers in the UK AOC.
