As we approach the end of 2023, we want to wish you Happy Holidays. Whether you are flying, on a layover or enjoying some time off at home, we want to acknowledge the hard work that you have done this year and let you know that we appreciate you.

Important for JFK Base ONLY

We have been in talks with the International Office about the election of a JFK Based Representative. Unfortunately as per our constitution and bylaws, we are not able to hold official elections for this position until 2025.

However, crew from JFK are allowed to elect an interim representative who will serve in this role until our official elections until 2025. 

Job Description: 

Local Council Representative:

The Local Council Representative shall assist the President, Vice President and Secretary in the administration of Local Council activities and perform such other duties as the President may assign to the Council Representative. For the purposes of calling special Local Council meetings, a Council Representative is not an officer.

As a reminder, this is a volunteer position with no additional compensation. Anyone nominated for this position must be a current crew member at Norse based in JFK. Self nominations are not allowed.
