October 2025 Roster Bidding Update

Dear Crew,
Crew Planning contacted us today to let us know that the report that was submitted to create the lines of bidding for October contained errors that were just detected.
This has affected multiple pairings and as a result, adjustments have to be made to multiple lines.
This news is obviously disheartening as we are over 24 hours into our bidding process and have had over 70 crew already bid for lines.
The affected lines are as follows:
- Line 1
- Line 3
- Line 4
- Line 6
- Line 7
- Lines 10-15 have been changed to RSV lines only and so have no scheduled flights attached to them
All affected lines have been marked in Blue for the line number. Unchanged lines have their line numbers marked in Green
With these factors taken into consideration and the lack of a dispute period, all crew who previously bid will be afforded the opportunity to resubmit their bids if they would like to do so.
If you would like to keep your bid the same, you do not have to do anything else.
If one of your top bids was between lines 10-15, please understand that if you choose not to rebid, this means that your schedule will be fully decided by crew control and you may end up with copious amounts of RSV and SBY even if you do not desire it.
Crew Planning has let us know that they will give us more information on Friday, September 12, 2025.
The bidding form has been updated with these new lines and can be accessed HERE.
We have also extended the bidding time period by 1 additional hour and so bidding closes at 2100ET on Wednesday September 9, 2025.
We understand this trial bidding period has been frustrating for some crew members and promise we are continuing to refine our process and work with Crew Planning to create a system that works for all of us.
In Solidarity,
The Scheduling Committee, Kat & Ted
