AOC Bidding for the FLL Base closed yesterday. The Bid results are now available here:
FLL AOC Bid Results. The bid results are sorted into 4 categories: NO AOC bid, UK AOC Bid, No Response/No Preference, and Ineligible to bid. You can switch between these lists using the tabs at the bottom of the Excel sheet. If you believe there are any discrepancies on the lists, please email [email protected] from your Norse email address.
As stated in our previous communication, the FLL UK AOC base will need approximately 80-90 Cabin Crew. The Company will soon make the final determination of number of crew needed, but because only 5 SCCMs and 33 CCMs bid for the UK AOC, the Company will “force” some crew into the UK AOC. This will happen in the following order:
1) Those who did not respond with a bid or provide a preference for either AOC, in reverse seniority order.
2) Those who bid for the Norway AOC in reverse seniority order.
Those who are awarded the UK AOC base will be notified once the Company finalizes the number of crew needed for the UK AOC. Everyone scheduled for the UK AOC will receive 5-day conversion training in April and scheduled for a medical exam if they don’t already possess a UK medical certificate.
We know there are many of you who have questions about the UK AOC operation and we have asked Management to schedule a meeting to answer everyone’s questions.
